I build reliable Java backend systems. Currently strengthening core Java, DSA, and SQL while learning Spring Boot; I also have practical defensive-security experience that informs my approach.
Who I am, honestly
I'm a final-year B.Tech student in AI & Data Science, and my primary goal right now is backend software development — roles like Software Engineer, Junior Java Developer, or Backend Developer. This isn't a dual identity; backend is the active focus, not one of two things I'm balancing.
I'm currently strengthening core Java and working through data structures & algorithms for placement prep, alongside a working knowledge of SQL and being comfortable in Git day to day. I'm also learning Spring Boot from the ground up — I haven't shipped anything with it yet, so I'm not claiming it as an active skill until there's a real project to point to.
I apply what I'm learning in two places: a small repo of focused Core Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot implementations built one concept at a time as I learn it, and a full end-to-end backend project I'm holding off on until the fundamentals are solid enough to build it properly.
Longer term, I want to grow into a strong backend engineer. I also have a genuine, hands-on background in defensive security — logs, SIEM basics, SOC workflows — which stays a secondary interest and shows up honestly in its own section below, not blended into the main pitch.

Software Developer Trainee
- Selected for an intensive software development training program focused on application and backend development using PHP, MySQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Developed backend functionality for a centralized Task Management System — task assignment, deadline monitoring, and progress tracking across departments.
- Built role-based access control across four user roles (Chairman, HOD, Faculty, Staff), each with different functionality and data visibility.
- Worked directly with database operations and application logic, and picked up real-world software development workflow through project-based learning.
Data Analyst Intern
- Cleaned and analyzed operational data from PPC, ERP, and HR departments using Excel, Power BI, and Python to improve reporting accuracy.
- Built interactive dashboards tracking KPIs — order fulfillment, production delays, dispatch turnaround — to support data-driven decisions.
- Mapped end-to-end textile production workflows, surfacing bottlenecks that fed directly into process changes.

Backend fundamentals, learned and committed one piece at a time — not a finished portfolio piece yet, so it's labeled as what it is.
Java Backend Application PLANNED / IN PROGRESS
A layered backend application I'm building to practice modern Java backend development properly — controller, service, and repository layers talking to a real database, with validation and exception handling done right rather than skipped. No public commits yet, so it isn't linked — this will replace this card with a repo link once there's real code behind it.

Task Management System
A centralized web-based system for managing task assignment, deadlines, progress tracking, and departmental activity — built during my traineeship at Technology Innovation Hub, MKCE. I worked on the backend: database operations and application logic.
Java Student Management System
A Java application built specifically to strengthen OOP fundamentals — classes, constructors, encapsulation, and managing collections of objects with ArrayList, including searching and updating records.
Implemented a set of classical and modern cryptographic algorithms from first principles to understand encryption, decryption, and cipher-design trade-offs beyond using a library.
A data analytics dashboard that segments e-commerce customers by purchasing behavior, turning raw transaction data into visual, interpretable groups for targeting decisions.
A centralized inventory system for laboratory chemicals, equipment, and consumables across multiple lab locations — stock tracking, equipment management, and role-based access across four user types.
Manages parking lot operations end to end — vehicle entry and exit tracking, slot availability, and automated fee calculation.

Real, hands-on work — Linux, log analysis, SIEM fundamentals, SOC workflow basics. It's context for how I think about systems, kept here as its own section rather than mixed into the backend story above.
Hybrid Network Intrusion Detection System
A rule-based and ML-driven NIDS for securing networks — analyzes live traffic and .pcap files, flags anomalies with Random Forest, XGBoost, and autoencoders, raises real-time alerts, and visualizes activity on a dashboard.
Cloud security and security engineering remain a long-term interest — secondary to the backend goal above, not competing with it.
